Assad AI ("we", "us") helps established UK construction and trade companies get booked project appointments through paid advertising, lead generation and booking systems. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. For data protection purposes, Assad AI is the controller of the data described here.
Who this applies to
- Business owners and staff who fill in our "Can't find a time that works?" form or contact us.
- Visitors to this website.
What we collect
- Enquiry details: your name, email address, phone number, company name and website, which you give us through our form or by contacting us.
- Client details: the business and campaign information needed to run your campaigns and reports.
- Messages: what you send us by email, phone, SMS or WhatsApp.
- Lead information for client campaigns: where we run ads and lead forms for a client, the enquiries that come in (such as a prospect's name, contact details and the job they want quoted) are passed to that client so they can follow them up.
How and why we use it
- To arrange and hold your scaling call, and follow up on your enquiry.
- To contact you by phone, SMS, WhatsApp and email about your enquiry and the services we offer.
- To set up and run your campaigns, tools, booking systems and reporting if you become a client.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Our lawful bases are: your consent (when you submit our form and agree to be contacted), our legitimate interests in running and promoting a business that serves other businesses, performing a contract with you, and legal obligation.
Marketing messages
When you submit our form you agree that we may contact you about your enquiry by phone, SMS, WhatsApp and email. You can tell us to stop at any time, and we will stop.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as it is useful to follow up your request, then delete them or keep them only if you ask us to. Client records are kept for the length of our work together, then for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes.
Keeping your data safe
We use reputable, secure systems, and we limit access to people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data;
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use your data, including for marketing;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- ask for your data in a portable format.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
